Collaborate & Create is a day devoted to the exploration of creative self-expression in a collaborative group dynamic; experimenting with the ability for a large group of people to collectively create a body of art work with a variety of materials and art supplies
Participants are asked to bring either a “found object” of their choice to act as “canvas”, or an artistic medium of any kind, perhaps both, or simply come open to experiencing as well as participating in the collaborative, creative processes being explored.
The day is devoted to the creation of a body of art work (25-30 pieces). Each participant is invited to contribute to any work, with any chosen technique, in a collaborative play ground of self-expression. During the day a variety of exercises and “games” will be orchestrated. Such activities are designed to assist the group in the collaborative inter-expression of collaborative art making, peace cultivation, and joyful interaction.
The intention of Collaborate & Create is to invite people into the exploration of the unknown; to express feelings, thoughts and emotions artistically. We strive to overcome hesitations, fears, or other reservations in order to facilitate personal, as well as group, growth through creative play. The inspiration for the Collaborate & Create event is spawned out of the philosophy that creative self-expression is the greatest tool for facilitating a deepening of self-awareness, and to show how in a collaborative experience, a group, or the collective consciousness, can evolve into a safe and loving space of peaceful co-existence.
How it Works:

- Participants are asked to bring either a “found object” of their choice to act as “canvas”, or an artistic medium of any kind, perhaps both, or simply come open to experiencing as well as participating in the collaborative, creative processes being explored.
